Integrated Pest Management

Pest management on a working site is not a run of one-off treatments booked after something has been seen. By the time an insect or a rodent is visible in a kitchen, a store or a hotel corridor, the population is already established. A contract works the other way round: the site is monitored on a fixed rhythm, activity is picked up early, and treatment goes in only where the monitoring says it is needed.

We build a monitoring layout around your site

On the first visit we walk the site area by area — goods-in, dry goods stores, kitchen and wash-up, waste holding, plant rooms and the external perimeter. We work out where the pressure actually sits, then place the monitoring points accordingly.

Every point is numbered and marked on a site plan. Rodent stations go down locked and secured; on the insect side we use sticky monitors, with electric fly killers covering flying insect activity. Because the points are numbered, the next visit compares like with like: what has changed, and exactly where.

The visits run to a schedule

Frequency follows the type of site, how hard it is worked and what the earlier records show. On each visit every station is read in turn, monitors and baits are checked, and structural and hygiene risks are noted.

A visit record covers:

• The date, the technician and the points inspected
• Activity found at each point, and the species identified
• Any product used, the dose, and where it was applied
• Remedial work expected from the site
• The date of the next visit

That record is also the document an auditor asks for. In food businesses, hotels and warehouses the first question is usually when the last visit took place and what was found. A file kept properly supports your own audits rather than becoming a scramble the week before one.

Treatment follows the monitoring

The point of a contract is not to fog the whole building every month. We set an action threshold for each monitoring point, and when a threshold is crossed we treat that area and no more — gel bait for German cockroach, bait stations for ants, a tighter station layout for rodents. Everything we use is a biocidal product licensed by the Turkish Ministry of Health.

A good share of the work is not chemical at all: brush strips under doors, mesh on vents, a leaking fitting repaired, waste moved away from a doorway. We put those in writing at every visit.

Why it beats calling someone afterwards

An established infestation costs far more than the treatment itself: production stopped, stock written off, repeat visits until it clears. One bed bug complaint takes a hotel room out of service. A single pallet showing stored product insects puts the whole batch in doubt.

Regular monitoring replaces those unpredictable costs with a known schedule — and if something does appear, the history is already in front of you: when it started, where it came in, and what was done last time.
